Your journey begins with a comprehensive assessment with Mr Kalsi. We will discuss your dental history, examine the area and take initial X-rays to assess suitability. This is your opportunity to ask any questions about the procedure.
A detailed 3D CT scan is taken to map the jaw bone structure precisely. Mr Kalsi uses this imaging to plan the exact position, angle and depth of the implant for the best possible outcome.
The titanium implant is placed into the jaw bone under local anaesthetic. The procedure is carried out with precision and care, and most patients report far less discomfort than expected.
Over the next 3 to 6 months, the implant fuses with the natural bone in a process called osseointegration. During this time you may wear a temporary restoration so you are never without a tooth.
Once the implant has fully integrated, impressions are taken and a bespoke porcelain crown is crafted. The crown is then securely fixed to the implant, completing your new tooth.
